Trail Riding in Groups Clinic with Sandy Hodskins

Your horse may get along fine with a stable buddy or pasture mate at home when you ride together. But riding in a group with unfamiliar horses in unfamiliar territory may blow his mind, or bring out unexpected animosities. To him, a new group is a new herd, and he may feel the need to defend his turf. These clinics will give you many strategies for horses that are buddy sour, barn sour, herd bound, horses that pin ears at each other, horses that jig or lack the confidence to lead. We start off in a controlled environment, giving you the tools to handle many situations. We will then go out onto the natural playground of obstacles, riding through mud, crossing logs and riding through streams & open fields.
